Using Hotkeys

Here is a handy list of hotkeys available in Chaos Control:

Opens a “new task” dialog in any task list, or an object-type selector in Folders and Contexts.

Add a task to Chaos Box.
Opens a “new task” dialog with Chaos Box pre-defined as the parent project.
⌘ + SHIFT + NCTRL + SHIFT + N
Add a project to this Folder.
Opens a project creation dialog in a folder or in the root list of the Projects section.
⌘ + SHIFT + PCTRL + SHIFT + P
Add a new folder.
Opens a folder creation dialog in a folder or in the root list of the Projects section.
⌘ + SHIFT + FCTRL + SHIFT + F
Add a new context.
Opens a context creation dialog in a context or in the root list of the Contexts section.
⌘ + SHIFT + CCTRL + SHIFT + C
Print a task list.
Opens the printer settings menu to print a particular task list.
⌘ + PCTRL + P
Close the Chaos Control window.
Closes the Chaos Control window, but doesn’t quit the app.
⌘ + WCTRL + W
Close the app.
Quits Chaos Control and prevents it from running in the background.
⌘ + QCTRL + Q
Copy.
Copies a list object, (including folders, projects and contexts), and all of its contents.

Paste.
Pastes the clipboard contents on the current list, if compatible.
⌘ + VCTRL + V
Cut.
Cuts the selected list item and puts it onto the clipboard.
⌘ + XCTRL + X
Delete.
Removes the selected list item.

Opens an edit dialog for the object.

⌘ + SHIFT + TCTRL + SHIFT + T
Open/Hide memo field.
Shows or hides a memo field for a selected task, project or context.
